Helen’s Place Marathahalli stands out as a charming restaurant located in the heart of Bengaluru. Its inviting ambience, reminiscent of Greece and Portugal, is enhanced by beautifully designed, Instagram-worthy corners that create a warm, casual atmosphere perfect for gatherings with friends or family. The restaurant features a diverse menu that includes delectable pizzas, Indian specialties like Nawab's Midnight Kebabs and Chicken Pepper Masala, as well as an array of Tuscan pasta options.

Customers have praised the quality of food, highlighting the rich flavors and fresh ingredients, notably in dishes like the 4 Cheese & Wilted Arugula Pizza and Prawn Ghee Roast. However, some diners have expressed a desire for more vegetarian options, indicating room for improvement in inclusivity for all dietary preferences. Service seems to be a double-edged sword—guests appreciate the polite staff but have noted inconsistencies in service speed during busy hours.

Another highlight is the drink selection, which features refreshing mocktails that perfectly complement the meals. While the atmosphere and quality make it worth a visit, diners should consider a reservation, especially on weekends, to avoid long waits. Overall, Helen’s Place Marathahalli is a reliable spot for enjoyable dining with a lovely vibe that many will find appealing.

TL;DR Good food, nice ambiance, and polite staff, but nothing particularly sets this restaurant apart from other popular spots in Bengaluru. Worth a visit if you’re looking for dependable quality and great service. I recently visited this restaurant and had a pleasant experience overall. The food was tasty and well done, the ambiance was nice and comfortable, and everything felt just right. But to be honest, it didn’t feel much different from the many other good restaurants and breweries around the city. What did stand out, though, was the staff—they were really polite, attentive, and made the whole visit smoother and more enjoyable. There wasn’t anything to dislike, but also nothing that made it especially memorable either. Still, it’s a solid choice if you’re in the area and looking for a good, reliable meal.

Good ambience, decent food but ruined by the service (not very bad but can improve). Extremely slow in terms of food reaching your table and the staff need to be told everything twice before they actuallt comply to your request. Might be the rush hour causing all this, but maybe a little improvement in this regard would surely help. But otherwise an amazing place to hangout with friends and family. The food selection is quite vast and they do update their menu quite regularly and have specials almost everyday. The drink selection is truly remarkable with great choices for alcohol and non-alcoholic mocktails. Prices are quite reasonable as well averaging around 600-800 for a person with 3 course and a drink.

The place is absolutely picture-perfect — every corner is Instagram-worthy and beautifully designed. The ambience truly stands out and adds a lot to the overall experience. Major kudos to the team for creating such a visually appealing and relaxing space. That said, prior reservation is a must, especially on weekends, as it tends to get quite crowded. Planning ahead will definitely save you from a long wait. The drinks here are fantastic and definitely a highlight — refreshing, well-made, and a must-try if you visit. However, I did feel the vegetarian options on the menu were limited. While the available items were decent, it would be great to see more variety added for those who prefer or require vegetarian meals. All in all, it’s a great spot for a casual hangout, a date, or even just to unwind with friends. With a few more veggie-friendly dishes, it could easily become a go-to for a wider audience. Still, worth a visit for the ambience and the drinks alone!

The ambience is wonderful, with a charming Greece/Portuguese-inspired vibe that instantly transports you. The food is delicious and tastes genuinely homemade — you can tell it’s prepared with care and love. The mocktails are refreshing and pair perfectly with the overall experience. A lovely spot for a relaxed, feel-good meal!

I recently visited Helen’s Palace in Marathahalli and overall had a pleasant experience. Food: The food quality was good, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The menu offers a decent variety, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. Portion sizes were satisfactory for the price. Ambience: The ambience is warm and inviting, making it a comfortable place to spend time with friends or colleagues. The décor and lighting add to the overall charm. Service: The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring orders were served on time. Points to Note: If you are sensitive to or dislike cigarette smoke, this may not be the best choice for you. Smoking is allowed, and the smell tends to linger in most corners of the space, which could make the experience uncomfortable for non-smokers. Overall: A good spot for food and casual gatherings, especially if smoking doesn’t bother you.

Recently visited Helen’s Place with my colleagues and we were genuinely surprised — who would've thought you could recreate such a Greece-like ambience on Outer Ring Road? The vibe is super fresh, summery, and absolutely Insta-worthy Only catch: if you’re seated facing the ORR, the traffic noise might bother you a bit — but otherwise, ambience is a solid 10/10. What We Tried (and Loved) We ordered quite a few things, and honestly, the food exceeded all our expectations. Here's the breakdown: 1. Cheesy Portuguese Garlic Bread – 7/10 Tasted good, looked interesting, but not sure what made it “Portuguese.” Decent start though. 2. Spiced Corn Ribs – 10/10 Must must try! Felt like a fancy Indian street food dish with a slight sweetness that took it up a notch. Also, presentation was 3. Fior De Latte Cheesy Pizzollo – 10/10 First time trying pizzollo and didn’t know what to expect, but I loved it. Super cheesy with strong pesto flavor. If you love pesto, you’ll enjoy this. Also very filling. 4. Hakka Lo Mein Noodles – not rated (by me) I didn’t try it, but heard it was very spicy — worked well for some of my spice-loving teammates. 5. Cheese-Stuffed Jalapeño Petites – 8/10 Basically modern-day mirchi bada Full jalapeños stuffed with cheese and deep-fried. Spicy-looking, but not too spicy. Fun to try! 6. Gnocchi Like Me – 3/10 Didn’t try this either, but this was a letdown for most of my colleagues. Sauce was way too salty. 7. Garden Picnic Uramaki (Aburi-style) – 9/10 A type of sushi — fresh and surprisingly good! Non-Veg Reviews (from my colleagues): Grilled prawns in Tom Yum emulsionNikkei tempura prawn rollOlek fish in morning gloryAll got really good feedback — apparently flavorful and well-cooked. Drinks & Desserts We tried Paradiso and Yuuuummmm! (yes, that's the name ) Paradiso has a nice spicy kickYuuuummmm is citrusy and light Both were refreshing and nicely presented.Desserts: Brownie Basque Cheesecake – Had orange zest in it. Some might not like that, but I enjoyed it.Tiramisu – Generous portion, creamy and satisfying. Very decently priced for Bangalore — most dishes are in the ₹300–₹500 range. The place is always full, so service can take time, but it’s understandable. Definitely worth the hype! Food, ambience, pricing — all of it worked. Highly recommend for group outings, chill evenings, or just when you're craving something different.
